How do I remove disk partition and merge the 2 partitions into main hard disk C drive. Win7
How do I remove a disk partition and merge the 2 partitions into main hard disk C drive. If I delete Drive D I am left with 250G of unallocated space in drive D Hard drive. And I want the unallocated portion 250G to be allocated
to the C drive.jc

Are these partitions on the same physical drive? If so, use Disk Management to delete the D: partition and then use it again to expand the C: partition onto the unallocated space.
If they are on separate drives you can't really merge them, but you can mount the space on the second drive to a folder on the C: drive.

You'll have to use a third-party utility such as Easeus Partition Manager Home
http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm
It works well (used it myself numerous times), and the price is right- FREE!

Please read the article about
merge unallocated space Windows 7 which introduced the detail instruction. (:

Windows 7 does not have such a built-in feature to do that. I think you need the third party software. Please note there could be some risks.
